We had a small class of 5 students in our GameMaker prototyping class in the spring semester. They had worked as a team and combined two projects into a bigger submission finishing with an entire game thread. The theme assigned was Fast Food. They decided to harness their individual skillsets and try and do a full prototype with menus, a complete level, scoring system, level design and escalation and original art and animation.
They took an interesting take on the theme with a nighmarish Gordon Ramsey hellscape kitchen with bizarre rodents and bugs distracting the chefs. This is a cooperative two player game that uses the controller and requires the player to either cook or squash the baddies. There are two meters that track kitchen cleanliness and customer satisfaction. Enjoy!
