IGDA Oct Meet Up Baton Rouge

This month's speaker is Daniel Velez from Geaux Gamer. Geaux Gamer was initially a proof of concept in order to generate interest in the development of an Esports bar and has expanded into a movement born out of interest expressed from the local gaming community. Daniel will tell us about how the idea started and what the future has in store for Geaux Gamer in addition to their upcoming $1k 1st Place Smash Bros tourney on Nov 2. There will be NBA 2K and Mario Kart as well, but Smash is the main event.

As usual, we will also have food sponsored by the Louisiana Technology Park. Drinks and mingling start at 7pm with the talk starting around 7:45pm.
